Brief info
Mark is a North Carolina native, born and raised in the foothills. Mark earned degrees in English and Economics from Appalachian State University, and his law degree from Elon University.
With an initial focus on criminal and family law, Mark’s practice is now centered on civil litigation spanning land use, construction, business, and homeowner’s association disputes. Mark also serves as general counsel for many homeowner’s associations throughout western North Carolina.
Mark practices in North Carolina District and Superior Courts, Federal Court, North Carolina Business Court, North Carolina Court of Appeals, and North Carolina Supreme Court.
In his free time, Mark enjoys fly fishing, beekeeping, camping, working on the farm, chasing down good banjo music, and spending time with his wife and three children.
